Q

Can we register as a group?

ANSWER
Yes, you can register for up to 10 Participant Passes at one time from the tickets page. Please note that at the time of registration you will need to provide the names of all participants.

Can I change attendee name after purchasing the ticket?

ANSWER
You can change participant name on the “My Ticket” page. The name of the attendee will be displayed on the participant pass. If you have already printed your pass, you can re-issue and re-print your pass from the “My Ticket” page.

Can more than one person use the Participant Pass?

ANSWER
A Participant Pass can only be used by one individual. It cannot be used for two or more individuals.
Q

When does registration close?

ANSWER
Registration will close when seats are full. We strongly recommend that you register as early as possible.

Do JANE members have the benefit of participating?

ANSWER
JANE members can attend a NEST TOKYO SPECIAL LUNCH PROGRAM for members only.
Q

Can I purchase tickets onsite on the day of the event?

ANSWER
We do not currently plan to accept same-day onsite registration.
Any changes to this policy will be posted on this website.

Do you accept registrations via email or telephone?

ANSWER
We only accept online registrations.

Is there a student discount?

ANSWER
Student discount is not available.

Billing and Payment

Q

What payment methods do you accept?

ANSWER
The Participant Pass can be purchased by credit card or bank remittance using the bill. When paying by bank remittance, you will be issued a bill at a later date.
Please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of receiving this bill.
For registration after MAY 15, please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account by JUNE 14, 2019.
We will issue your Participant Pass after it has been verified that the funds have been remitted.
We recommend that those wishing to obtain their Participant Pass earlier to pay by credit card.

What types of credit cards do you accept?

ANSWER
Payments can be made using a Visa, MasterCard or JCB card. All credit card payments will be processed using PayPal’s online payment system. From there, credit card information will be sent directly to the credit card company. No credit card information will be sent to the Secretariat.
Q

Will the bill be sent by postal mail? When do I need to make the payment by?

ANSWER
We will send a bill via postal mail to those selecting payment by bank remittance.
Please designate the address to which you would like the bill to be sent using the applicable section of the registration form. Please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of the bill issuance date.
For registration after MAY 15, please remit the necessary funds to the designated bank account by JUNE 14, 2019.
All related bank charges must be borne by the registrant.

Can you issue a receipt?

ANSWER
For both bank remittance and credit card payments, receipt data can be obtained from the My Ticket page after the payment has been processed. This data can be used as a proof of purchase. In the case of bank remittances, the bank remittance form will serve as the official receipt of the transaction. For credit card payments, the statement issued by the credit card company can serve as proof of purchase.

I obtained a promotional code after completing my ticket order.
Can discounts be applied retrospectively?

ANSWER
Promotional codes cannot be applied to an order already processed. Please make a new ticket purchase using the promotional code, and email the New Economy Summit 2019 office requesting the cancellation of your previous order. Please note however that we are unable to refund your purchase if your payment has been processed by bank transfer.

Can I cancel my registration? Will I receive a refund?

ANSWER
We cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds.

Participant Pass

Q

When will I receive my Participant Pass?

ANSWER
Your Participant Pass will be sent by email. For those paying by credit card, the Participant Pass will be attached to the email sent out after the registration process has been completed. For those paying by bank transfer, we will send the Participant Pass by email after verifying the remittance has been completed.
The Participant Pass will be checked at the reception in order to avoid duplicate use of tickets. Please note that only one Participant Pass can be used per individual; it cannot be used for two or more individuals.

I lost my ticket.

ANSWER
If for some reason you lose this email prior to the summit, you can re-download your Participant Pass from the My Ticket page on this website.
Q

Prohibition of the sale of Participant Passes for profit

ANSWER
Purchasing large numbers of Participant Passes and reselling them through internet auctions or scalping may violate certain laws and ordinances.
The NEST TOKYO 2019 is committed to working together with relevant parties to prevent such acts, and to eliminate illegal buying and selling so that we can provide attendees with Participant Passes at fair and appropriate prices.

Where is the NEST TOKYO 2019 reception desk?

ANSWER
The reception desk is located at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo.
Q

I will be unable to arrive in time for the start of the program as I am traveling from a distant location.
Can I join the summit half way through the program?

ANSWER
The registration desk will be open throughout the summit program.
You can join the summit while it is in progress.
Q

Are there seats still available?

ANSWER
Ticket sale will close when seats are full, and a notification to that effect will be posted on this website. We do, however, encourage you to purchase your tickets early.

Will simultaneous interpretation be provided?

ANSWER
There will be English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation available at all sessions during the summit. Detailed information will be provided on the program.

Will presentation handouts be provided?

ANSWER
Presentation handouts will not be provided.
