Q

Does the price of the participation ticket include tax?

ANSWER
The price excludes tax.
Please note that the tax rate will be 10% for purchases made after September 30th.

Can we register as a group?

ANSWER
Yes, you can register for up to 10 Participant Passes in one go on the tickets page.
Please note that when you register you will need to provide the names of all participants.
Q

Can I change the participant name after purchasing the ticket?

ANSWER
You can change the participant name on the “My Ticket” page. The name of the participant will be displayed on the Participant Pass. If you have already printed your pass, you can download and print it again by clicking on “Show PDF ticket“ from the “My Ticket” page.

Can more than one person use the Participant Pass?

ANSWER
A Participant Pass can only be used by one individual. It cannot be shared between two or more people.
Q

When does registration close?

ANSWER
Registration will close when all the seats are taken. We strongly recommend that you register as early as possible.

Do JANE members have get any special perks if they participate?

ANSWER
JANE members' employees can attend the networking party of the event.

Can I purchase tickets at the venue on the day of the event?

ANSWER
We do not currently plan to accept registrations at the venue on the day.

Do you accept registrations via email or telephone?

ANSWER
Sorry, we only accept online registrations.

Are there any student discounts?

ANSWER
Sorry, there are no student discounts.

Billing and Payment

Q

What payment methods do you accept?

ANSWER
Participant Passes can either be purchased by credit card, or by bank transfer by issuing a bill.
If paying by bank transfer you will be issued a bill at a later date.
Please transfer the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of receiving the bill.
If you register after SEPTEMBER 26, please transfer the necessary funds to the designated bank account by OCTOBER 25 (FRI).
We will issue your Participant Pass after transfer of the necessary funds has been verified.
We recommend paying by credit card if you wish to get your Participant Pass sooner.
Q

What types of credit cards do you accept?

ANSWER
Payments can be made using a Visa, MasterCard or JCB card. All credit card payments will be processed using PayPal’s online payment system. From there, the credit card information will be sent directly to the credit card company. No credit card information will be sent to the NEST Office.
Q

Will the bill be sent by postal mail? When do I need to make payment by?

ANSWER
We will send a bill via postal mail to those who select payment by bank transfer.
Please specify the address you would like the bill to be sent to using the applicable section of the registration form.
Please transfer the necessary funds to the designated bank account within 30 days of the bill issuance date.
If you register after SEPTEMBER 26, please transfer the necessary funds to the designated bank account by OCTOBER 25 (FRI).
All related bank charges must be borne by the registrant.
If you have not received your bill even after one week has passed since you registered, please contact the NEST Office (nest@wizgroup.co.jp).

Can you issue a receipt?

ANSWER
For both bank transfer and credit card payments, receipt data can be obtained from the My Ticket page after the payment has been processed. This data can be used as proof of purchase. In the case of bank transfers, the bank transfer form will serve as the official receipt of the transaction. For credit card payments, the statement issued by the credit card company can also serve as proof of purchase.
Q

I got a promotional code after completing my ticket order. Can codes be applied retrospectively?

ANSWER
Promotional codes cannot be applied to an order that has already been processed. Please purchase a new ticket using the promotional code, then email the New Economy Summit 2019 registration office requesting cancellation of your previous order. Please note however that we will not be able to refund your payment if you have already paid by bank transfer.

Can I cancel my registration? Can I get a refund?

ANSWER
We cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds.

Participant Pass

Q

When will I receive my Participant Pass?

ANSWER
Your Participant Pass will be sent by email.
For people who pay by credit card, the Participant Pass will be attached to the email sent out after the registration process has been completed.
For people who pay by bank transfer, we will send the Participant Pass by email after completion the transfer has been verified.
Please print your Participant Pass, and remember to bring it with you to the summit on the day.
Participant Passes will be checked at the reception on the day in order to prevent duplicate use of IDs. Please note that one Participant Pass can only be used by one individual. It cannot be used by two or more individuals, even if multiple copies of it are printed.

I lost my Participation Pass.

ANSWER
You can download your Participant Pass again from “Show PDF ticket“ on the My Ticket page of EventRegist website.
Q

Prohibition of reselling Participant Passes for profit

ANSWER
Acts such as purchasing large numbers of Participant Passes and reselling them through internet auctions or scalping may violate certain laws and ordinances.
NEST KANSAI 2019 is committed to working together with the relevant parties to prevent such acts and eradicate illegal buying and selling, so that we can provide attendees with Participant Passes fairly and at appropriate prices.

Where will the NEST KANSAI 2019 reception desk be?

ANSWER
The reception desk will be located on the 2nd floor of The Westin Osaka (which is the event venue). Please see the access map on this website for details.
Q

I will be unable to arrive in time for the start of the program as I will be traveling from far away. Can I join the summit partway through?

ANSWER
The registration desk will be open throughout the summit.
You can join the summit at any time during the program.
Q

Are there any seats still available?

ANSWER
Ticket sales will close when all the seats are taken, and a notification to that effect will be posted on this website. This can sometime happen quickly, so we do encourage you to purchase your tickets early.

Will simultaneous interpretation be provided?

ANSWER
English-Japanese simultaneous interpretation will be available at all sessions during the summit. Detailed information will be provided in the latest program.

Will presentation handouts be provided?

ANSWER
Presentation handouts will not be provided.
